Issues status complete/incomplete

Nov 14, 2012

Hi, we have some issues with a course, but only happen with some users. The course has 14 slides (without quiz or engage), the tracking is complete/incomplete and the reporting is by the slides viewed (all). Very easy. When I reach the last slide, testing the course in our LMS, the LMS report is OK (complete). But when other users do the same, the note on the course is complete, but the status in the LMS report is incomplete. We´ve tried to complete it in different PC´s, but it´s impossible. I´d like to know what we must do to solve this issues.

Please, see the attached file.

Thank you

Maijo

Good morning Maijo,

For most any LMS-related issue, this blog post is the place to begin.  You also want to be certain that you are packaging your published content properly for your LMS.  Please note that your LMS may dictate how you configure the "Report status to LMS as" setting.

If you wind up empty-handed after reviewing the links above, I would recommend comparing the performance of your content at SCORM Cloud.  If you cannot reproduce the problem there, this is likely an LMS-specific issue, and you will want to generate debug logs and supply them to your LMS provider for additional troubleshooting.

It may be difficult to determine if this will happen again when testing, since it's only occurring with other users. If you're unable to tell a difference when testing in SCORM Cloud, please submit a support case with our tech team. They'll be able to take a closer look and see what may be causing the issue. If you do open a support case please include a Presenter Package. Also, please share your case number with me (you can do so by responding to this message or by sending it to me in a private message) so I can track the progress of the case.

Hi there, Girly!

This discussion is older, so let's make sure you get the most current help.

First, let's see how the content reports in another LMS environment like SCORM Cloud. If the report looks right in SCORM Cloud but not in the LMS, this tells us that the issue is related to the LMS' output.

Also, be sure to check out these tips for when a course doesn't track properly.

Let us know if you need a hand with testing!
