I have problem where if I click on a hyperlink that goes to an external website or a file in Moodle, when I close that new window the course has re-started. It's almost like the course page has re-freshed.
I can't just use the x button to close down the hyperlink tab without it doing this. I have found that I can refind my place in the Articulate course if I find the browser icon and then select the Articulate file I was in or ALT TAB in a Windows PC to get back to the course. Neither of these are intuitive and I can just hear all the phone calls with users thinking they have been thrown out of the course and not wanting to purchase any more.
I know this could be a Moodle pop issue or similar but can anyone see a way forward for this?
If you haven't already had a chance to do so, I'd recommend taking a look at our great article on troubleshooting LMS/Articulate issues, especially the section on running your course through the SCORM test track to determine whether the issue lays with the LMS or the course itself. You may also want to contact your LMS team to discuss it with them.
