Followed the instruction in the link provided. While in the player template>other and I click "Preview" the slide numbers do not show. If I publish or preview one slide, they do. I sucessfully changed some of the slide names and adjusted the tabs in the side bar but I cannot make those slide numbers disappear for the life of me...
The last step of the process is the most important. In the publishing wizard you have the option to select any player template. Make sure you are selecting the player template that you modified and then publish the presentation.
Ah, so that is the trick... After I made the changes I saved it with a slightly different name and, viola, all is right with the world. Hoping that is what you meant to do.
