I used to be able to do this and now it doesn't work...
I have a link to an index.htm on a slide. After I publish the course, I move the file with the media into the published course. When I run the course, the path is broken (some of the "/" get removed). I don't think this is a new issue, but can find the solution on the blogs.
If you're experiencing unexpected issues using Articulate software, here are some tips for managing your files which can help prevent issues.
1. Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
2. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
3. Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.
Additional information regarding "Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces" in Windows operating systems can be found in this Microsoft article.
If your issue persists, please feel free to upload your files to our support team so we can take a closer look. Thanks!
Just as an FYI, that type of link is not going to work as you are pointing to a local location on your computer. For more information, see this article.
