Linking from an object on a slide, to a PDF resource in the resources tab

Dec 12, 2017

Hi.  I have searched all over for an answer to why this isn't working, with no luck.  I have followed the instructions for linking (presenter_content/external_files/filename.pdf) to files, but once I test the presenter course on Tempshare, the links don't work and I get either an 'oops' message or a load of indecipherable code - see the screenshot.

Basically I want all 11 of my case studies to be available in the Resources tab (and they are; I uploaded them to there and they can be seen), but when the learner clicks on the specific case study they're interested in, on the Case Studies slide, I want that case study to open.  It doesn't.  HELP!  Please...

Hi Julie!

Did you follow the instructions as explained in this documentation? There is a video there as well. Make sure you are viewing the published link in the intended environment. Otherwise, it may not work. I'd also be sure to keep the file name as short as possible due to the file path length.

Would you be able to share your Articulate Package for us to take a look if needed?
