The SCORM standard allows for these 4 pairs of values to be passed between content and LMS.
Some LMSs use some of them, some use others. So Presenter was built to be able to pass all 4 so it is the most compatible with what your LMS requires and your reporting needs.
I agree with Bob. Test them...some work on mine and some dont. I always end up using Passed / Failed because I can set the LMS to be Complete / Incomplete if I want. For some reason if I use Complete / Incomplete in my Articulate Course, it doesn't push the info to my LMS at all it seems.
