Localization of e-learning program designed by Articulate studio
Jan 05, 2015
Hi, we are running into some major problems due to a very difficult handling when doing a localization. Hopefully we are doing things wrong!
We have +250 modules of e-learning with ppt's, text and mp4's. We are translating from US English to Swedish. At time being, we have to re-create every slide, copy and paste in new text into the slide, re-position the pictures and finally re-record all voice. We are talking +10.000 slides and it is overwhelming.
All this must be possible to automate? To export the text and then import translated text again (some tuning possibly) and then re-record. Is there somebody we can speak to or some really good write-ups?

Hi Peter!
Here's how to use the translation features in Articulate Presenter '13.
Thanks! We will move on with this. Another connected question is about the Engage treatments that was used in the old software called Flip Book and Stair Step. How is this handled in studio 2013, specifically regarding the translation/localization? Thanks for your help!
Hi Peter!
We actually did not include Community Interactions from '09 in Engage '13 and you can read more about that here.
