Locking navigation in a presentation

Sep 23, 2011

Hi all,

I have a request from a client to lock completely the presentation. I do not like such requests as I have always at the end a test that can prove if the learner has understood the content of my course. So normally I set free navigation in player properties and in slide properties I set by user in column advance.

The request of the client is following: the user has to view all slides! I have not a lot of experience in using Articulate and in my presentation I have a lot of hidden slides and a particular branching situation... could you help me in finding the best way to fit such a request?

Thanks.

Thanks Brian.

The screenr was very useful. Unfortunately I still have a problem.

If I use Restricted (in the Navigation Tab) I have some problems as I have at the beginning of my presentation 4 hidden slides. So the behaviour is following: the presentation starts and then stops at once with no possibility of going forward as I have some hidden slides at the beginning.

I put the hidden slides at the beginning to solve another problem I had. Some visibile slides after hidden slides did not appear in the outline tab. Both (visible and hidden were at the same level 2).

As in the post

http://www.articulate.com/forums/articulate-presenter/17827-question-left-window-pane-doesn-t-show-after-hidden-slides.html

I found the solution and I put my hidden slides at the beginning of the presentation changing branching accordingly.

Now I need to solve the issue of restricted navigation or going backward the issue of hidden slides.

Thks again for your support.
