I would like to be able to show my students the scroll bar in Presenter 13... but I do not want to them to be able to move it ahead. Is there a way to 'lock' the scroll bar?
Hi, Linda -- Thank you for your question! May I ask if you mean the progress bar at the bottom of the screen rather than scroll bar? Would it be possible for you to share a screenshot of what you have in mind so we are better able to assist?
Yes I mean the scroll bar. In presenter 09 I was able to show the scroll bar so that the student could see progress on the slide .. but I was able to 'lock' it so that the student could not pull it ahead. Our modules are all restricted so students need to listen / watch the entire module.
Hi, Linda -- Can you please share an screenshot/example or a Presenter '09 file so that I can get a better idea of what you are describing? If you'd like to upload here, you may use the ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left of the reply box, or if privacy is a concern, you are welcome to share via this form. :)
Sure... attached is how it looks in 09. It scrolls with the time on the
slide, but the user can not pull it ahead. Just a nice way to see the time
left on the slide.

Hi, Linda -- Thanks for your reply but unfortunately, when you reply via email, any attachment you intended to send are not visible here in the post. No worries, as I believe I now understand what you have in mind. In Presenter '09, you were able to lock the seekbar as described here, however that functionality is no longer available in Presenter '13.
Also, when you reply via email, details in your signature are visible publicly in your post. Please feel free to use the EDIT button beneath your post to remove that info if you'd like. :)
It seems like there are a few things missing from 13.... things most
important to us are:
- Locking the scroll bar (our option is to not display it, then students
can't see progress on the slide - not good)
- Warning message when using a restricted view and students try to move
ahead
- When reformatted 09 to 13 the player defaults to 13 rather than
keeping the player in 09.
Hi, Linda -- I appreciate your response, and while we are not able to share our product roadmap for future releases or updates, I did want to let you know you are welcome to use this form if you'd like to share your thoughts on features and functionality with our Product team.

Any idea if these will be changed / updated?
