Hello. I'm producing an interactive Web-Based Training module where users have to click on links within the slides that will allow them to proceed in the training. But when I lock the slide, it completely locks all the functions (play, previous and next buttons). Is there a way you can lock a slide only for the "next" button?
Thanks. I'm trying it now but it seems to still have all the functions still locked except for the replay button. I just wanted to give a user the option to go back a slide or two before they proceed to the locked page where they have to click on a hyperlink.
I'm only searching because my company is switching from the old presenter to "presenter 13" and the older version had the option to go back a few slides. They don't want '13 to be a wasted investment so I'm searching all possible options.
I didn't publish yet but, in preview slides, it allows me to go to the next slide after it plays the slide.
In the old presenter, if a user tried to click the "NEXT" button without clicking the interactive link within the slide, the player would just replay the entire slide. If I can get the new presenter to do that, my problems will be solved.
I just noticed (duh). I have to redirect the hyperlink slides to replay itself (in slide properties) if a user tries to go to the next slide. They have to click the interactive hyperlink within the slide. Thanks for the help!

Yes, how i usually do this is as follows
1) in slide properties, set to free.
2) go to player, menu, additional options, and set to restricted.

When i the above steps, works perfect for me. are your slide properties set to free? also, use restricted, not locked.
Yes; but when you use the above steps does it only lock the "NEXT" button? If not, what buttons are restricted?
Yes, only locks next button (and menu on left from skipping ahead).
