Logo border

Oct 19, 2011

Any thoughts about how to remove the white boder that shows up around an inserted logo? I've gone into "edit color schemes" and don't see anything that looks like I can change it. My original image does not have a border. I've set the player background to be the same color as the logo background so that they look seamless, but the border is messing me up.

Hi I have a simular question.  My logo appears in the upper left hand corner, but on the left and right of the logo the colors of the "sidebar background"  (which is light blue) appear. I do not want to see the light blue bars of color on either side on my logo. My logo has a white background.  I have tried creating the logo with more white on the left and right but that does not work. Should that work? Or is my only option to change the "sidebar background" to white?

Welcome to the community, Sandy!

I apologize, I'm having a hard time picturing this. Do you have a custom color already set up on the player? It sounds like that's the case, since the default color is usually a light gray. Normally, the border or background for the logo is white and fairly small.

Can you share a screenshot of the border you're seeing?

Thanks!

Yes I am using custom colors the "sidebar background" is light blue. It is the light blue on either side of the placement of the logo in the upper right that I don't want to see.The logo has a white background and is not available with a transparent background. I have up loaded an example.

Hi Sandy,

Ahhh, thank you! That makes it much easier to understand :)

Unfortunately, that portion is a part of the player itself and there's not really a way to remove that. What you could do, if you don't want to change the color of the player to match the logo background, is change the color of the logo. May not be something you'd want to try, but I thought I'd suggest it, just in case it's something that would be more appealing to you.

You could still provide some white, just to make the logo "pop", but if you replace all of the white, it would look like the logo was more "flush" with the player.

Good luck with the project, Sandy!
