Losing Audio When Publishing PowerPoint File

Mar 27, 2014

I created a PowerPoint presentation that includes narration. When I publish the file in Articulate, I lose audio from some of the slides.  The narration is working fine in PowerPoint.

I even tried going into the Audio Editor prior to publishing the file, but some of the slides are missing the audio even before I publish the file.  Again, when I go back into PowerPoint the audio is working on all the slides.  Can anyone tell me what the issue is?

Thank you.

Hi Michael and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

Take a look at this article about common reasons why audio may be lost.

When creating, editing, and publishing Articulate Presenter '13 courses, be sure you're working on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources (such as audio). See this article for more information.
