Menu - slide properties

Oct 15, 2012

Is the number beside the slide (set in slide properties) and appearing in the menu fixed in style?

I know how to alter levels. It always stays as

1,

2, (set a level one)

3 (set at level 2),

4 (set at level 2),

5 (set at level 2) etc

(even when at a different level)?

e.g. is it possible for the numbers to read with a point to show it's below the level above?

1,

2,

3 - 3.1,3.2,3.3

Thanks

Sue

Hi Sue,

I've been playing around with the levels in slide properties myself and if I understand you correctly I don't think its possible to alter the numbers there - I think the level field just "nests" the slides. Although it should be possible to put the numbers you describe (3.1, 3.2, 3.3, etc) in the navigation slide titles and address your content organization visually while still using the level to group the slides and manage your course navigation.

There's a Screenr on this feature in Presenter, which you may already have viewed, that seems to confirm this.

I hope this helps!

Nancy
