Some of our leaners share a computer. One learner completes a course and exits. The next learner starts the course and of course is presented with the option of picking up where the last learner left off
Is there a way to clear flash cache when the first learner reaches the end of the course so that a subsequent learner starts off fresh?
One option that may work for you is to disable the prompt and resume feature. This will ensure that each time the course starts, it starts from the beginning.
Unfortunately, my course is a very long one containing nine modules. We have found that learners may take the course over mutlitple days and we rely on Articulate's bookmarking function to return learners to where they left off. So in summary, we need bookmarking to be active until they review the final slide at which time it is deleted.
I am familiar with and have created shared objects in flash and could create a swf containing the delete shared objects actionscript if I knew what Articulate's shared object is called but I don't suppose that would be given to me. So maybe there is another work around?
Are all of your learners using the same browser? If so, perhaps you could add an instruction to the learner to press the keyboard keys to clear the cache. For example: "Press Ctrl & F5 now to ensure the module will track your progress in the course." I'm not sure if this would really work correctly, so you'd need to test it out.

Would that work for you?
Thanks for the thoughtful reply Christine,

Thanks Melanie,
I'll give that a try!
