Hi - I am relatively new to using movies in Presenter. I inserted a few movie clips in Presenter 09 using "Insert Flash Movie" and displaying in the slide. Everything works beautifuly when I publish from my computer (the movie starts playing right away). My IT dept has now uploaded into our LMS system and now the movies take forever (sometimes up to 1 minute) to start playing. The IT folks say that when they load it to the webserver, it seems to get disconnected. The movies play on the shared drive but not when loaded to webserver even when launching outside of the LMS environment. Any suggestions? TIA!
Since the material was working fine post-publish, but does not seem to be working in your LMS I would advise that you test the content in SCORM Cloud. This will help you identify whether the issue lies in the content or with the LMS. If it's the LMS you may need to follow up with your LMS provider, otherwise let us know if you see the same behavior in SCORM Cloud and we would be happy to take a look.
