With large amount of coursewares and videos, we are thinking about to put those videos in a separated internal server, to release the burden for our moodle server.
May I know if there is any recommended method for doing so? I have tried using "web object", and it works fine with PC, but it cannot be watched by android device.
Can courseware directly play the video from internet / internal server without embedded it?
Although we don't currently support Android devices, inserting from YouTube (Presenter '13 method here | Presenter '09 method here) or Vimeo is a popular tactic to achieve what you're looking for. Good luck with your project!
