I have restricted navigation on my Articulate project. When I upload my Articulate zip file to the LMS and attempt to click outside the navigation parameters, the background music stops (not the narration) and will not come back on until the next slide is clicked. Is there a way to keep the BG music playing even if a user attempts to click on a restricted section of the e-learning module?
Storyline doesn't have a built in background music/playlist feature like Presenter does - so did you use some of the custom examples shared here in the E-Learning Heroes community to set this up?
If so, I'd look to those community members for ideas as they may have run into the same thing. It's also worth testing your course in another environment to see if your LMS is contributing to this. Take a look at how to test in SCORM Cloud - easy, fast and free!
I'm sorry, I'm new to E-Learning Heroes. I think I posted my question in the wrong category. I created my Articulate project with Presenter not Storyline. Can you still help?
Actually Chrysti, that was my mistake! You posted your question in the correct Presenter forum, but I overlooked that and assumed you were using Storyline. So sorry for the confusion!
Yes, I can definitely still help! Here's what I'll need from you:
Would you mind sending us the un-published version of your file so we can open it and take a look at your set-up? To do this, first create an Articulate Package.
Then, attach the package to this form. After submitting the form, you'll be given a case number. Please let me know what that number is so I can follow along with your case!
Thanks, Chrysti. Our team will take a closer look at your file, and we'll reach out via email once we have more to share. Keep an eye out for an email from Support@Articulate.com!

Hi there Chrysti,
I'm happy to help you narrow this down, and I have a few questions to start:
Hi Alyssa,

I'll be standing by!
Hi Alyssa,
Sorry for the delay in my response. I have attached a zip package of my project, entitled Responsible Gaming. Thank you for your help.
No worries, Chrysti!
I hosted the published output on SCORM Cloud here. Do you see the same problem happening when you test that link?
Thanks!
Hi Alyssa,
Yes, it appears that it is still having the same problem. When you navigate out of sequence, the music still stops.
Thanks, Chrysti. I tested your file again, and now I noticed the music stops when you try to skip ahead in the menu. Here's a screen recording of my testing.
