My .ppta is working, but the engage and quizmaker files is not updated

Jan 27, 2016

Hello

Im working on a .ppta project. When im working on it in powerpoint, engage and quizmaker everything works fine. Now when I try to import the project to Storyline 2, I see that all the files for quizmaker and engage are not saved as own files. I tried to import to storyline 2 after all, but ended up with an old project.

How is this possible? I work locally.

Please help! I have a deadline very soon.

Hello Christie!

As you can see in my attachment, the main presentation is saved 26.01.16 but the engage and quizmaker files isnt getting saved.

When i work in my presenter project everything is okay, but when i try to import the project into storyline 2 everything ive changed and worked with is gone, expect the changes done in power point. Seems like it reads from the engage and quizmaker files, and not from the main project.

Best regards
Asbjørn

Hi, Asbjørn -- Many thanks for the screenshot and for the additional details!

I'd like our Support Engineers to weigh in with their thoughts, so I will go ahead and create a support ticket on your behalf and will submit it momentarily. You will be hearing from a member of that team shortly, and I'll follow along with their progress to share relevant updates here in the thread, as well. :)

Hi, Asbjørn --

I just wanted to touch base with you on your case #00731789.  It looks like our Support Engineer, Cleo, replied as seen below on 1/28/2016  around 1:24 PM. If for someone reason you did not receive this reply to the email address we have on file for you, please check your SPAM or junk folder as it may have been routed there in error.

"Thanks for contacting Articulate Support!

Can you please open your Presenter file and double-check if the changes you made are saved? Then try to save it again but using a different filename. Now see if you can import the newly saved Presenter file into a new Storyline Project and see if it works this time.

If you still encounter the same issue, with the new Presenter file, please create an Articulate Package and upload it for us to review. Here's how:
1)  Create an Articulate Package of your presentation as described here:http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter-13/how-to-create-an-articulate-package

2)  Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server (note, Asbjorn: please use the upload link Cleo provided in your email).

3)  Include the slide numbers where the issue occurs in your description. Please be as detailed as possible.

We'll attempt to diagnose what's happening when we receive your upload."
