I have inherited a course that needs rework. It has custom nav Back and Next buttons in the bottom right hand corner of each slide. When I insert an engage interaction, it takes up the whole slide and displays its nav button in the top right hand corner. It appears to be confusing the learners so the client wants the same custom nav buttons on every slide including interactions.
you cannot get the nav buttons to control the engage interaction, you could insert as a swf and push the engage of the slide to hide the buttons, or switch off the buttons and force the user to use the tabs etc to navigate
