Need urgent help on Indian language Unicode font's issue
Feb 08, 2011
Hi
We are working on an e-learning project in Indian languages where the Unicode font's issue has driven us crazy.
Our process goes like this:
1. Our translator provides us the translated ppts in Indian language-Unicode fonts
2. We set the language setting options etc (that my team received from the Articulate community)
3. Publish the ppt - And all the fonts go bizarre. Either, they are not visible, or the letters get distorted
So, we were suggested that we use TTF instead of Unicode.
However, due to time constraints, we are unable to get the translation done in TTF fast.
Hence, we are struggling big time!
I am a big fan of Articulate. Due to the language issue limitation, my team is in the lookout for a better software substitute.
If anyone could help us to resolve this, we would really appreciate it. Else, we will have to change all ppts to suit another software.
Thanks

Hi Kasturi,
Can you try opening your PowerPoint file & changing the font for all of the text to Arial Unicode MS? Then, republish your presentation.
If you continue to have issues, please let me know.
Thanks Brian for such a prompt response.
We tried changing all fonts to Arial Unicode MS, but it still doesn't work :(
Could you please suggest what can we do?
Hi Kasturi,
I would suggest you submit a case by following the steps below.
Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:
Send to Articulate Presenter Package – Articulate Presenter ’09 Help
Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:
Articulate Support - Upload Your Files for Review
Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09 which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so we can follow up with you in the forums.
Thanks Brian
