New to Articulate Power point timings
Mar 01, 2011
Hello all new to Articulate and I'm trying to take some Powerpoints with animations all ready built in and just convert those to put into my LMS.
I'll try to make that statement clearer.
I have Powerpoint presentations that I want the user to click to advance.
So 1st slide user clicks, question appears on slide. user clicks again answer appears on slide. User clicks again next slide etc. I do not want articulate to add any timing, (I've got it down to 1 second) also the clicking works in PP presentation but when published using articulate it shows the entire slide on each click.
Hope this makes sense and someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks

Hi Doug,
Articulate is not built to work that way. If you MUST have the user click, you will need to separate out each animation on to separate slides. If you are building out a process or something that needs to be reveled bit by bit, then might consider using an engage interaction for each portion of the process. But, overall, Presenter, although it is a PowerPoint Plugin, does not work exactly the same way. If you explain further, I'm sure we can help you here achieve what you want to accomplish with your learners, though maybe through a different method.
Thanks for the information. I will present the info to my boss to see if the way I have already designed it works for them.
