I have packaged an example and submitted to support. I am using update 2 and the problem with missing blank lines has been fixed, which I'm pleased about!
Thanks for the update Leslie. I'll install it when I've finished my current project (nearing completion) - and if I remember I'll post confirmation here that the problem is fixed.
I keep seeing on multiple threads that have to do with the same topic that this issue was fixed with update 2, then update 3...I am running update 5 and I still can't read the notes on my courses without getting a headache because they are so blurry. I don't understand the problem because the Title fields that appear above are crystal clear, but we/Articulate can't seem to get the notes to come out clear. I have tried EVERY work around that I have read about and it still looks awful. Is there any word on with this might possibly be fixed?!?!?! For real this time :)
As a workaround, I wanted to share my process: Convert the Glossary tab to a Notes tab and use the glossary format to hold your notes (You can change the text associated with each element of the glossary/menu structure using the settings in the player menu).
For instance, I created a structure where instead of "Terms" I have "Sections" and instead of "Definitions" I have "Section Notes". The glossary tab exports to vector and text is crisp. The only caveat is in molding your notes content to the glossary format.
I am having the same issue and have update 7 at this time. From the looks of it, the problem keeps resurfacing so I thought I would share that it has not been corrected yet. I have not tried the work around yet but thought it should still be mentioned that currently the notes are still blurry.
I just wanted to confirm that you're using Presenter '13 Update 7 as this thread is a bit older. Also, did you review the information here in regards to locking your player size as well?
We are experiencing this issue in our office as well - can you share anything that you've found from Jeff's experience? We have AP 13' installed on two near-identical machines. Both run the same version of AP, the same version of Office, and the same version of Windows.
We can move a project file between them: Only one of them publishes the notes sharply, the other does not. When we create a new project file the same issue exists: one is blurry, the other is sharp.
Hoping you can offer some clarification! Thanks in advance.
Our team reached out to take a look at Jeff's files, but he never shared them, so unfortunately I don't have any other information to share on his set up. If you'd like to share a copy of both of these Presenter packages with us,w e're happy to take a look. You can send them along here.
It's also worth confirming that you're both using the same slide size and player size as detailed here. A difference in how you're scaling the published output could account for what you're seeing.
I apologize, I wound up using the course and then became distracted with other projects and never followed up. I submitted my file this morning so maybe that will help in figuring this out.
Thanks Greg for uploading - and I see that Renato was in touch with you and didn't see the blurry notes in your published output using the latest update of Presenter '13. Please feel free to continue to discuss with Renato and I'll follow along as well.

Hi Mike!
Have you downloaded Studio '13 Update 2? There was an issue with notes formatting that was corrected with this release.
I'm having the exact same issue, and I am running update 2. The notes being fuzzy was never an issue before the update.
Justin,
If you need us to look at your project files, you are more than welcome to package it up and send it to us.

Thanks for the update Mike! I see where your issue was filed (#00390756). I'm gonna flag this thread so that I can keep up as well
This is the response from support:
"Thanks for uploading your project files and for allowingus to review them!
We were able to duplicate the issue you reported.Unfortunately, we were unable to determine a workaround.
We have reported this issue to our Quality Assurance teamfor their review. I cannot offer a time frame for when or if this issue will beaddressed.
I would recommend, at this time, to take a differentapproach so that you continue working on your project. "
Well, my "different approach" will have to be "live with it" for now :-(
Thanks for sharing with the community Mike.
I have had another response from support:
You may find that slide notes are somewhat blurry orfuzzy in your published course. This is a known issue.
See this article for more information:
http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter-13/slides-notes-are-blurry
That article will provide a temporary solution for theissue for now. We will be providing an update that should resolve this issue inthe future.
Hi Everyone!
I am happy to announce that Studio '13 Update 3 has been released. You can download the latest update here.
Thanks for the update Leslie. I'll install it when I've finished my current project (nearing completion) - and if I remember I'll post confirmation here that the problem is fixed.
Thanks Mike
Apologies for the delay, but yes, this does now seem to be fixed in Update 4 (I skipped Update 3).
Thanks for sharing Mike

Hi Ashley,
Yes I am using Presenter '13 with update 7. I also have tried locking the browser as suggested, the font still appears the same.
Thanks Jeff - I think next we'll want to take a look at your Presenter package, and you're welcome to share it here in the forums or if you'd like to send along to our Support Engineers.
