Object Hyperlinks to other slides are directing to wrong slide.

Apr 05, 2011

I've got a series of two-slide pairs, the first slide has a thumbnail icon that when clicked on goes to the second slide and displays a demonstration of system behavior described in the first slide.

I have double and tripled checked these hyperlinks and they should work but they keep linking to other slides seemingly at random. I am using transparent rectangles that sit atop the original text list of the slides.

Any idea what could cause this?

I would suggest you submit a case by following the steps below.

Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter09/?p=457

Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

http://upload.articulate.com/

Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09 which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so we can follow up with you in the forums.

I
just wanted to say that I figured out what the problemwas. Each of
'nested' SWF slides that were accessed via thumbnails had
similarfilenames... by saving each of the swf's with distinct different
names andreinserting, the publish process works and everything has been
resolved.

So that said...

PROTIP: Never use the same filename for multiple SWF files imported into a PowerPoint/Articulate presentation.
