Oh Dear! Please Help! Error Messages Abound!

Sep 24, 2014

Hi there,

I have a very simple Studio 13 file. 21 slides, no interactions, no quizzes just narration and animations. I am getting the Articulate Presenter 13 Error Report box if I try to Preview, Publish, or access Audio Editor.

I have it saved locally and can't strip out the Audio as I can't access the editor. Can anyone please help?

Thanks a million,

Lisa

ps I would attach the file but keep getting a server message when I do!

Hi Lisa!

Do you think there may just be some corruption with this file?

You can try to start a new file to see if the issue is alleviated:

  1. Open a blank presentation in PowerPoint.
  2. Save the presentation.
  3. Click theHometab.
  4. Click the drop-down arrow besideNew Slideand selectReuse Slides.
  5. Click theBrowsebutton and selectBrowse File.
  6. Locate your original PowerPoint file and click theOpenbutton.
  7. At the bottom of theReuse Slidespanel, select theKeep source formattingcheck box.
  8. Right click the first slide in theReuse Slidespanel and selectInsert All Slides.
  9. Save the new presentation and republish.

Note: Resources, such as audio and video, that you inserted via Articulate Presenter into the original presentation will need to be inserted again into the new presentation. You may need toexportthe narration from your original presentation. Thenimportit into the new presentation.

Sounds like you may need to conduct a repair of your software.

Hiya...Thanks so much for your reply. I have created a new file, the problem is I can't export the audio from the original as I get the error report when accessing Audio editor.

Will look at repair but I have no administration rights so I'm a bit snookered and IT queues can take days.

Any way to repair the original file do you know?

Thanks a million for your help.

Lisa
