Old Presenter Courses Don't Play with Flash Player 10 or Later

Have an older course in your portfolio or on your LMS?  I do!  Tried to play one recently?  I did... guess what?  It didn't work.  

I found an article to show me the fix:  https://articulate.com/support/article/why-are-my-presentations-not-loading-with-flash-player-10  Great and simple instructions except it only works on the hard drive.  No option for selecting other locations (like an external where my portfolio resides).  

Ok... no problem... or so I thought.  I copied the files to the hard drive, ran the Flash 10 Updater and the courses worked.  On the HARD DRIVE ONLY though.  If I copy the published files back to my external they no longer work. 

I tried to republish but lose the narration... fine for something newer but these are things in my portfolio from years ago and I prefer not to re-voice them.

Not sure what to do.  Any help is appreciated.  Zipped file attached.
