On-Click animations showing in initial slide view

Nov 12, 2012

I have a slide with several on-click animations, and have sync'd the on-click entries with the narration.

When I preview the slides, I am finding that some of the text-boxes appear automatically appear when the slide begins, rather than waiting for their "turn" to appear.

I feel like I remember there being some setting you can turn on/off for "view initially", which I would want off, but I can't recall how to do this.

I'm also wondering if this is just possible a "preview" glitch that might fix itself when publishing.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Ben

Hi Ben!

It is possible that it may be a preview glitch. I would suggest publishing the file to see if you experience the same issue with the sync.

If that doesn't fix the issue, it may be due to the current frame rate settings for your presentation.

30 frames per second is the only supported frame rate at which you can include synchronized annotations. If your recorded annotations do not appear when you expected them to, it is likely due to the frames per second inPresentation Options -> Publish.

Please check the following information:

  1. Go toPresentations -> Publish.
  2. Check the current fps. If your settings are for anything other than 30, changePublish slides at X frames per secondto 30.
  3. ClickOK.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, pleasesubmit a support casewith us, along with apresenter package.

If you do open a support case, please respond with the case number so I can track the status of the case.
