Only images and photos are published

Jan 19, 2012

I'm new to Articulate and have reworked a presentation incl animations and a quizz to show my colleauges as a teaser for how we are going to do e-learning of our internal systems in the future.

However, when I publish, only some images and photos are visible.

I use PowerPoint 2003.

What can I do?

Welcome to Heroes, Anne!

Cool idea! To be sure we have all the information we need to help troubleshoot, please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

Send to Articulate Presenter Package – Articulate Presenter ’09 Help

Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Articulate Support - Upload Your Files for Review

Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09, which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so I can follow up with you personally in the forums. Thanks!

Thanks, Peter.

However, I could not make the package and ended up with zipping the presentation instead. Whenever I try publishing (using your guide) I only publish selected graphics and no text.

I use a 2003 version of PowerPoint, on a system registered as: Microsoft Windows XP, Professional, Version 2002, Service Pack 3.

Our It-dept have insalled a lot of security, and had to give me advanced rights to be able to download and install presenter.

Thanks again for your help

Anne

Hi Anne!

Sorry for the trouble. For zip creation to work properly, the full directory path of the publish location needs to be less than 256 characters in length, including the name of the zip file itself.

Also, please be aware that working on a network drive or publishing to a network drive can cause erratic behavior. You should edit and publish your content on your local hard drive (typically, your C: drive).
