Overlapping audio in published module

Feb 25, 2013

Hi,

I am getting audio from another slide playing and overlapping when i reach a particular slide in the published module.

I have checked for special characters on the effected slides and there are none. I have also changed the type of ppt animation used on the slides. Both of these have not solved the issue.

When I remove all animations on one of the effected slides and then publish the module, only then does the overlapping not occur.

Please could someone help, as it is essential that that slide does have audio synchronized animations.

Thanks!

Welcome to the community, Aleena!

It sounds like you've already seen this article, is that correct? If that's not helping, we'd be happy to take a look at your project files and help determine what might be going on. First, create an Articulate Presenter Package of your presentation as described here. Then upload the resulting zip file from your computer on the second page of this form, and we''ll attempt to diagnose what's happening when we receive your upload. Thanks!

Hi Peter,

I'm getting the same issues, but only when viewing the course using Chrome browser. Are there any known issues with Chrome relating to this symptom?

I've checked my files and the only special characters in the shape names are occasional underscores (e.g. PPTShape_0) however I find these throughout my presentation and not only in the location where the overlapping audio occurs. Do I need to remove these underscores?

Thanks,

Steve
