'Play' button not branching

Hello,
I am creating a branched scenario in presenter, which works totally fine when the user clicks next or prev buttons, however because the play button is flashing in the play bar users are clicking on this buttin and it just takes them to the next slide and ignores the branching options!
Does anyone know if there is any way of fixing this, or if I am able to remove the play button altogether (but still leave the next/back buttons), or alternatively stop the play button flashing?

You can remove the player controls. See this tutorial:

I have received a zip file but cannot get it to play.
The directions sent to me said to extract the zip files and click on the Launcher.html - this does next to nothing.
How can I play the presentation?
Hi Jan and welcome to Heroes! This typically indicates you are double clicking the zip file and trying to view it that way. Right click the file and select Extract All and follow the steps to extract the contents of the zip file to a new folder on your computer. Then you would double click the launcher file.
