Articulate Presenter 360 v8.23.18834.0
I would like to create a short cut or other hot key so that the user can press Enter to advance to the next slide or Backspace to go back a slide. I want to be able to tell them to "select next or press enter". 508 accessiblity is a requirement for our tasks.
(I know they can tab to the button and press enter...but that is not what I want.)

Hi Rachel,
It looks like you're using Presenter 360 - so if you're looking for further customization of buttons and items a learner could interact with you may want to look at using Storyline 360. That would allow you to choose which button advances a learner to a new slide or allow a learner to revisit a slide.
You can import in your existing Presenter content, and then I'd suggest review this article on titled Storyline 360: How to Design an Accessible Course.
Let me know if that helps!
Hi Ashley,
I'm using Storyline 360 and I too need the user to be able to "select next OR press enter"as it is an accessiblity requirement.
I need BOTH options to be available for the user and from what I can see the training can only be set up for the slide to advance using Next only or Enter only, not a way for both to be available and the user can choose. Is that correct?
Hi Nicky, you can definitely have both options. You can set a trigger on the master slide to go to next slide when X key is presssed. But I would suggest not using Enter as X key because key Enter is default to enter an option. For example if an user tapped on a button(could be an option or showing a layer...) but decide to go to next slide instead, therefore he/she presses Enter but may found it didn't functioned as expected.

Thank you! I'll do some testing and make sure it doesn't conflict with any other actions needed on individual slides.
