Player Template EXIT Studio 09

I need to hide the EXIT button in the Player Template we use to publish to LMS (SCORM 1.2).  So I opened the Player Template box, and unchecked the EXIT tab box.  Preview shows the EXIT tab removed., and I saved the template.  However, the EXIT tab is still showing when I review slides while in Presenter, and the SCORM file still shows the EXIT button.

For publishing to Articulate-on-line we use another template which has the EXIT button checked. 

Is there a reason why changing the template to one with the EXIT unchecked does not change things?
