I have a Presenter 09 course that plays fine on my Windows PC, but I can't get it play on my Mac.
I tried saving it for the web, and opening the player.html in Firefox, Safari and Chrome on the Mac - all of which have Flash installed. I see the same thing on all three: a grey, stripey loading bar that gets about a fifth of the way along and then hangs.
I have tried saving it for CD, but the Mac can't open .exe files.
Running flash locally on a Mac can sometimes be impossible. First make sure you have flash installed (it is not by default) sometimes I get better results running it from a USB drive
Alyssa, unfortunately my workplace has severe restrictions on where I can upload company materials, so I can't try using Tempshare with my course. I might try making a dummy presentation later that I can upload and see if it works.
Phil, I tried from a USB drive, but no luck, and I've definitely got Flash installed. I tried on a colleague's Mac too, just to see, and got the same stuck loading bar.

Hi J,
It sounds like you're viewing the published content locally, which can cause features of your content to fail.
Instead, try hosting the output on Tempshare and view the output in one of these supported browsers.
Let me know if you see a difference!

Thanks for the answers!

I've just uploaded it to our LMS and it's finally viewable on a Mac. That's probably good enough for the moment.
I'd love to have the option to be able to just play it on my Mac though. Any further suggestions very welcome!
Thanks all.
