I feel like I am going crazy with this Articulate packaging!
This is what I have been doing:
- Our original were created on the on network drive (Q drive)
- I created an Articulate package from the (Q drive)
- Copied the zip file to the C drive (local drive)
- Extracted the files on the local drive
In my extracted folder this is what I had:
- Testing.ppta
- Testing.pptx
- Testing.intr
- Notes
I wanted to add a new Engage encounter to my presentation
I created the enagage encounter which successfully saved to my new C drive (Jill.intr) folder as seen below
I now cant see the new ( Jill.intr) Engage in my actual presentation as seen in the image below
The only way I can get it into my presentation is to go back into Engage and select "Add Existing" then it appears.
Am I doing something incorrectly?
Why do my new engage interactions not appear in my presentation?
Thanks for your help.
Jill

Hi Jill!
Check out this tutorial on how you add an Engage Interaction to your Presenter project.
Hi Leslie,
Thanks so much for your reply and the tutorial.
As per the tutorial above that is how I have been creating Engage encounters. The problem seems to be that it does not create a placeholder in my PowerPoint. This seems to only happen after I create an Articulate Package.
Hi Jill! Thanks for the details. Are you working locally? I know that you mentioned you saved the file to your C Drive, but are you totally working with your software and all files on your local hard drive? You may need to share a screencast so that I can understand what may be going on.
