Possible to create a single course from multiple Powerpoints?
Jan 11, 2013
I'm trying to figure out if there is a way for me to divide my course into multiple Powerpoint source files. I've only recently started working in Presenter, and I'm already finding the publishing process to be painfully slow. I'd like to be able to develop the source in multiple Powerpoint files, but then publish a course that contains all the content so that it all shows up together in the navigation and can be searched. Is this possible?
I already know about the following resource: http://daveperso.mediaenglishonline.com/2009/05/12/create-a-menu-for-multiple-presentations. However, I would really like to
be able to provide a consolidated, searchable, navigable course that
contains all the content in a single player. (I'm assuming that I wouldn't get that by using Dave Moxon's approach.) I've searched the forums, but can't find this covered anywhere. If this is truly a limitation of the product, I hope that it's addressed in the 2013 version!
Thanks!

You cannot combine ,multiple presentations into a single course after publish.
the only way is to develop as a single project. You could develop in seperate ppt files and combine prior to publish.
i don't see this being a feature in he new Studio, I would expect publishing to be faster (or hope it will be)
