Power Point animation

I'm a little confused about whether or not I can set up animation with something other than "ON CLICK" in Power Point 2007. I would like to have one animation close and the next one open (edit the timing to my needs) when I click to exit an animation. The support information I found didn't clarify for me. If I click exit on one animation can I have the next animation set up to start with the previous?

Hi Bob,
I may be oversimplifying the problem but it sounds like you would just want to use the "After Previous" option instead of "on click." That will allow you to set the timing as you wish. Hope this helps.
Hi Bob,
Yes you can. If you use the Animation panel as you would in a normal PPT file, you can set up with previous and after previous and adjust the timing as you want to.
Personally, i never use the synch animation window as I find it easier to use the animation panel. I can see and specifically edit the timing and delay for each animation and preview it right there in the slide to check timing.
I also grab the time from any audio program (I use SoundBooth as it is one i use to edit as well, but Audacity is a great one too) and then set the timing exactly as I need it. As it's on a flash timeline, I know the audio time will match and only do the animation once the timeline hits that specific time in the course for that slide.
Wow, I rambled there didn't I...sorry bout that, but hope that helps.
