POWERPNT.EXE process not ending when I close Articulate project

I am running into a consistent problem that I am hoping someone can help me with.

When I am working on an Articulate project and then close out of the project, more often than not (I would love to say EVERY time, but can't confirm that), the POWERPNT.EXE process does not close out.  This uses (at the one that I am looking at right now, at least) 24,000 K of memory, and I notice that it often ends up crashing the system when I try to work on a new file.

I have also seen a PPTAL.exe file fairly regularly that doesn't always shut down.

I am working on a Win7 machine with Office 2010.

Any thoughts would be helpful!
