PowerPoint '13 freezes once I activate my serial number - HELP!

Hi there,
I just purchased a licence to Articulate Studio '13 Standard and was able to activate my serial number through the Articulate tab. Once it activated, clicking on any of the Articulate options in thePowerPointribbon causes the program to completely freeze.
- I cannot access any other tabs across the ribbon once it freezes
- Task manager says PPT is running correctly.
- I have to shutdown using Task Manager as it does not respond any other way
- If I uninstall Articulate Studio, PPT starts working correctly again.
- If I reinstall Articulate Studio '13 and access the Articulate tab the same thing happens.
- I've tried uninstalling the character bundle, but the same freezing occurs.
- I've tried using my old files (created in the trial version) and starting a new project - same problem
I have a project deadline tomorrow and need to publish - my 30 day trial has finished.
Can you please offer any advice on how to fix this?

You may want to go through the steps listed here to help with the behavior. You can also try re-installing Powerpoint.
You could also open a support case with us if the issue persists.
