PowerPoint locks up

I am doing the 30-day free trial, and Presenter seems to work fine. However, when I click on Quizmaker Quiz, PPT locks up and nothing else ever happens.

I can open Quizmaker stand-alone. It's only when I try to use it within Presenter that this happens.

I have a Dell OptiPlex 990 with 4 CPUs, 4GB memory, 500GB hard drive, Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, MS Office 2013 running in 32-bit emulation.

I'm not going to get very far with the free trial if this doesn't work. Why isn't there a tech support phone number? This also makes me lean toward other products.

It sounds as if you may actually be having an issue with the ribbon not activating correctly, or perhaps you need to repair your software install all together.

Also, be sure that you are working locally

Rowie Barcelona solved the problem. There was an entry in my Registry that pointed to a network drive. See http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter-13/error-1327invalid-drive-while-installing-studio-09.
