I have had some issues with this in the past, not recently, but you might want to take a look at this. Its more work, but i think a better option would be to save your audio from the PPT outside of Storyline and then import the audio file. I think it would sound better as well. I hope this helps. I know its an extra step that could be time consuming depending on how many slides you are talking about.
