PPT Buttons and animations
Mar 06, 2011
Hi everyone, this my first post. I am new to this great community. I hope to learn a lot from the heroes.
Here's my question. I am working on a template for a spelling game (you can find it attached)
Now, in PPT I inserted actions to the buttons: a sound and the animation which gives the impression you are actually pressing on a key. When I publish with Presenter, both the sound and the animation are gone.
Why is that? Is there I way I can work that around?
Thanks a lot and greetings from Malaga, Spain.

Hey Frederico,
As you have found out, actions buttons don't work with Articulate. Your only other option that I am aware of is to use flash to create custom buttons.
Here is a post on how to do that - http://www.articulate.com/forums/articulate-presenter/18094-flash-rollover-buttons-hyperlinking-slides.html
Thanks a lot Charles
I'll check that out
Federico, also one of the games in the "Learning Games" section of Articulate is a hangman type game with similar functions to what you've created:

Charles, If I cannot place 2 swfs on a PPT using Articulate, how can I successfully implement swf navigation buttons with a slide that contains a swf movie as content? Can it be done?
Hi Sue
You have two options, you can incorporate your swf movie into the swf that contains your buttons, or you can swap out the background slide with a swf with your buttons on after you publish (articulate publishes the layout as a seperate swf)
David anderson has done a sreenr on how to do this,
