PPT elements misbehaving

I have an ecourse that is mostly quizzes and interactions, but has a few plain PPT slides, which are causing me headaches for two different reasons. First, I have set up the bulleted text to dim to black after animation. This is fine in PPT but when previewing and publishing the dimming either doesn't show up or it comes in as a totally different color. Second, there are slides in which the bullets don't show up. I have two sets of funky and desired slides below (in order, bad; good; bad; good). Can anyone help me with this? (Office 2010)

Hi Jim!
Are you utilizing the latest update of Presenter '13, which is Update 4? We had some issues with bullets that was addressed in this update.
No, I'm still on 3, but I've put in a request to our IS to download and install 4. Once installed I'll give it another try and let you know what I find. Thanks.
Thanks Jim!
Well I got the update 4, and the result is "better" but not "solved." The bullet issue seems to have been fixed, but the dimming behavior is still erratic. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Thanks for the update Jim! If you need us to take a look, just share an example here.
The third screen above shows the problem that still remains. The purple of the bulleted text is supposed to dim to black like on the fourth screen after coming in green.
Would you be able to share your Articulate Package for us to have a look at?
