Premature .flv file slide advance
Feb 23, 2012
First the disclaimer: I have been using Articulate for exactly 24 hours. The only forum posts I can find are related to a delay in advancing.
I have a .flv set to play inside the slide and begin play 1 second into the slide. When I publish, the video begins to play for about a second and then prematurely advances to the next slide. It was playing the full video just fine until I attempted to make the video placeholder into an image (which I never figured out). I tried the thumbnail, but PP wouldn't let me paste the print screen image (I have PP 2007, so no screen capture tool).
Another slide I created that opens the video in a new window still plays correctly.
Any ideas?

Welcome to Heroes, Kimberly!
Sorry I'm just now seeing this, but if you're still looking for a way to replace a Flash video placeholder thumbnail with a frame from the video, check out this screencast.
Is that what you're hoping to do?
