Presentation Freezes at Interaction
Sep 13, 2012
I've published a presentation containing quizzes and Engage files, all of which have audio. After going through one Engage Interaction in the presentation, the presentation won't advance. In this interaction, you are supposed to have a choice of which button to click in the Engage and then you should be able to self advance to the next slide. The Slide Properties are all set to advance "By User". Additionally, the Interaction Properties are set to "Interactive - user can advance". I've read and performed the tip regarding deleting and reinserting the audio and deleting a bit of the silence. Then I republished with the same results. Any thoughts?
Thanks,

Welcome to Heroes, Judy!
Are you able to send us your project files so we can take a closer look at what's going on? Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:
Send to Articulate Presenter Package – Articulate Presenter ’09 Help
Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Thanks!
Hello,
Do you have any update on this? I have a few students who are using a presentation hosted on Moodle, and occasionally on some Engage screens it freezes and have to force close their browser. Not always the same screen and not all users (and typically works fine for us!), so looking for what might cause it and what to suggest...
Thanks,
Louise
After continued republishing of the presentation the problem stopped... So, unfortunately, I don't have any real insight into troubleshooting the problem. I didn't change any settings so I really can't explain why continued republishing worked.
Thanks,
Judy Hartmann
Hi Louise,
Any way to find out which browser(s) the students are using? And is there any way to ensure that all the students are using the most recent Flash player?
My froze in Chrome.
