Presenter 09 Error

We are trying to insert media, Engage and Quiz files in Presenter 09 pptx/ppta file. However we keep on receiving this error message " Presenter was unable to open the project file". The other source files which were used to build last year's course is available in the same folder as Presenter pptx/ppta. We can't even publish because the error  message keep on appearing when we make edits on the pptx/ppta. We already made changes in the engage and quiz files and they are working fine but when we tried to open it using Presenter pptx/ppta it is not working. We can't complete and publish the course.

Please let us know next steps to follow. I would appreciate your immediate response on this.
