I have some flash video courses that fail to record success in some versions of IE 11 (not all). I can recreate the problem easily and have attempted to debug with the debugger. Unfortunately, with the debugger on, it works! I think this points to some kind of timing issue but I can't locate it.
Please let me know what additional info you need on this. I have tried it in the SCORM Cloud and it failed for me nicely. ;-)
Do you have a file that we can test in IE? When you mentioned different versions, is it only IE 11? You may want to look at the information here if it is happening in earlier versions of IE. Has this course completed on the SCORM Cloud, or is it just failing from your LMS? Also, what LMS are you using?
Thanks for the reply. It was happening in IE11 with certain update levels but I'm afraid I don't have the info on which ones. It was failing from SCORM Cloud also. I am recording to our own LMS.
But, the good news is that the link you sent above held the solution.
I added <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=10" /> and it fixed the problem. I think this may be the same as asking learners to set the Compatibility View option, but I'm not sure about that. Setting CV was the current solution but I did not want to ask everyone to do that. This is a cleaner solution for me. I have yet to see if it causes any other problems but hopefully not.

Thanks again for the information!

Thanks Wendy for the update and I'm happy to hear that solution is working for you!
