Presenter 13 freezes when using sync animations

Since I upgraded to Presenter 13 - I have not been able to sync animations without the program freezing when I hit the Save and close button. I have to shut down and restart PowerPoint. It saves a recovered version of the PowerPoint and my animation tinings have been saved in that recovered version - but the shut down and restart is something that happens every time, in every course.
My IT department has done a complete uninstall and reinstall of Presenter with no improvement. I am currently using Office 13. Thanks for your help. Jan

Hi Jan!
When creating, editing, and publishing Articulate Presenter '13 courses, be sure you're working on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources. See this article for more information.
Hi, thank you for your response. Yes, I am working from my desktop. Do you have any fix instructions for Office 13? Since I have uninstalled and reinstalled the entire Articulate Suite – I don’t know that this is going to make any difference. Are there other Office 13 users having issues? Thanks, Jan
Hi Jan, the instructions that we provide are in the above attached article. I am not aware of any other users with issues as it is usually the users machine and either the repair or uninstall/reinstall will address their issues.
