I have the glossary and resources selected in my player. When I publish, they don't appear when I publish. They are there when I preview, but disappear during the publishing. How do I fix this?
I have this problem also and I do have resources ticked for every slide. What I'm seeing in my version when I click 'view' after 'publish' is the icons for the resources but no text, so the viewer can't see what the title of each resource is. Finding this very annoying and time consuming!
To clarify - if I click on one of the icons, it does take me to the resource, but it's as if I've set the resource title text to be the same colour as the menu's background (i.e. the text is functionally invisible) - but I definitely haven't done that.
Yes, I was responding to your comments. It looks like you've shared the zipped published output and I would like to see the project files. The directions are in the hyperlink shared above.
I did a quick recording to show you what I'm seeing when I try to take a look at the file you're sharing here. Please forgive me defaulting to the Author name, it was right in front of me as I was talking.
If you could save your file locally, re-package, and re-share here, that would be great.
This is what I've set it up to look like (although the text at the top is showing as black and I don't seem to be able to find out how to make it white) and as you can see, the titles of the resources can be seen.
In addition to that problem, I notice that although I haven't ticked Glossary for this course, and Glossary isn't showing in Player Properties (see capture 2), it IS showing in Preview (see capture 3). These seeming bugs are taking up so much of my time. Getting very disheartened.
OK - sorted the black text out with the help of your link to the colours and sorted the glossary out with another article - I'd set it to On rather than Off (default). Now all I need sorted out is the disappearing text and I'll be happy!
You made great progress Julie, thanks for sharing.
I was able to take a look at the file you shared. I see the issue you are reporting when publishing/uploading the course to SCORM Cloud.
We have reported an issue with viewing the Resources in HTML5 to our team, and continue to keep an eye on it to evaluate how many customers are impacted and what impact it has on courses. The number of customers and depth of impact are two of the elements that help us prioritize bugs and fixes.
Here’s some more detail about how we tackle them when they occur. I’m really sorry that I can’t say if this issue will be fixed but you’re in the right place to stay updated on this bug’s progress.
That's not quite what I was hoping for! This is one of a series of 8 courses and we need to publish them, but can't if an important element of the course is invisible! This isn't a tiny inconvenience, it's huge. Can you reassure me that when these courses are uploaded to their final environment (on LearnDash) everything will be seen as it should be? I'm really worried about this now. I had assumed / hoped you were going to tell me it was something I was doing wrong :-(
I'm seeing the same thing with the published output to SCORM Cloud, which is a great place for LMS testing, so I fear you may see the same thing in your final environment. That's not something I can guarantee. Again, this is reported for HTML5, so your flash output may work as expected.

Got it fixed. They showed on one slide. For '13 found out you have to go to Slide Properties and turn them on or off for each slide.
Hi Beth! Glad you were able to get this sorted and thank you for sharing your solution

This is what it looks like in Tempshare. None of my other files has done this.
Sorry to hear that you ran into difficulty with this Julie. Thanks for the details and the image. I can see how that would be frustrating.
This document explains all of the player colors and you can take a look to see if there may be a conflict.
If you need us to take a look, it'd be helpful to share your Articulate Package.
Please can you have a look at my comments on this thread.

I'd be happy to take a closer look for you.
Here it is. The problem isn't (as I said above) related to colours. The colours I've used for the text are correct and can be seen in preview.

Hi there, thanks for trying that. I'm not sure what's going on, as I am saving it to my local drive, not the OneDrive. I'll have another go!

Hope you can see this.

Sorry, this should have been the Preview shot.
