Presenter '13 narration not publishing

Jan 19, 2016

Hi there,

I am working with a faculty member who is using the Presenter Add-In in Power Point 13 to record a narration. (I have attached the ppt.)  When we go to either preview the slide or publish it the audio is not present.  Also, when I go to the Audio Editor in the Narration tab on the ribbon, it appears as if there is no audio:

BUT...if I click on the Record Narration option in that same ribbon, I see this:

which, to me, looks like a time stamp. There is a time stamp on each of the slides in the attached power point, most of them longer then 11 seconds. This leads me to believe that there should be audio. I have used the Save and Close feature for each slide and then try to republish it - both on a local drive and on our server - but there is no sound.

Can you help?

Hi Margaret!

Articulate Presenter '13 doesn't support audio that was recorded or imported in PowerPoint. You'll need to record or import audio in Presenter instead.

If you already recorded or imported audio in PowerPoint, you may be able to extract it. See this article for details.

When working on an Articulate Presenter '13 course in a collaborative environment with other developers, use this workflow to avoid file corruption, loss of resources, and other erratic behavior that can occur due to network latency.
