Currently, http:// gets added to the Resource links, which will cause the mailto: link to open as a webpage. More on adding and managing resources here!
In the meantime, you can turn your mailto: link into a TinyURL (https://tinyurl.com/) and use that URL in the Resources instead. I created this short tutorial to walk you through the steps!
