Presenter 5 published Content with Flash Player 11

Mar 02, 2012

Hello,

We have recently had a problem with content that had been published with Presenter 5. The modules were working fine, but recently, they all load with the slide 100 out of 160 error. We checked the XML files and see no issue. Previously, people had been using flash player 9.

I think it is related to Flash player 11. Do we need to use the fixes that were recommended for flash player 10?

Thanks for your help.

Peter, thanks for the quick feedback.

Yes, we checkted the XML files.

I also have used the troubleshooting steps in the LMS document. I have to review the debug file still.

The versions published for standalone work fine, but when launched from the LMS, or from the server where they sit, the player.html and the index_lms.html both fail with the 100 out of 160 error.

We republished one module using an updated version and it works fine, but the hassle of updating all of the modules makes me want to find a quicker solution.

Any ideas of what other files I should look at?

Thanks again!

Peter,

No problem.

We don't have access to our client's server to upload the files directly. We send them the files, and they upload them.

I have manually checked the xml files for any signs of corruption, and have validated them using online xml validation parsers.

I was assuming a corrupt xml file would have errors that would appear under those situations.

I will double check on how they are transfering the files to the server, and have already sent them the information about using binary FTP.

Thanks gain.
